Statement on General Data protection
When providing professional materials and information (newsletters, publications, etc.) and other services (organising events), the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development of the Republic of Slovenia (hereinafter ‘IMAD’) endeavours to protect the privacy of its website users. The privacy statement explains what types of personal information we collect, how it is used and how it can be modified. You do not have to provide personal data to browse our site. In cases where you do need to provide personal data or choose to disclose it yourself, it is treated in accordance with this Privacy Statement that applies for IMAD’s website http://www.umar.gov.si.

IMAD provides information on the processing of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Information on the data controller
The data controller is the IMAD, Gregorčičeva 27, 1000 Ljubljana, http://www.umar.si. The person authorised for personal data protection can be reached at IMAD’s address.
Types of personal data and the purpose of use
We collect personal data (e-mail addresses) to inform our website users about new contents on our site. E-mail addresses are not processed or used for any other purposes. We collect personally identifiable data only when you provide it yourself, i.e. when you sign up for notifications on our website (‘Be informed’). The information thus obtained also enables electronic communication – responding to queries and requests.
When collecting personal data, we always inform our website users about the purpose for which data is collected and used. The purpose of data collection will not be subsequently changed without your consent.
Accessing and updating your personal data
In keeping your personal data accurate and up to date, we need your help. Please notify us of any changes to your data to help us ensure appropriate information and communication.
Unsubscribing
The contents of our website are accessible without registration. We need your personal data only to inform you about new contents on the website.
You can however also refuse receiving notifications from our website. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the link attached to each newsletter sent, or by sending an email request for deletion of data to gp.umar(at)gov.si.

Personal information you provide remains private and confidential. Certain parts of our website use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to ensure a safe transfer of personal data. Your data can only be accessed by persons who are authorised to perform the necessary tasks and obliged to treat it with the utmost care.

IMAD undertakes to keep your data for a period no longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
